[PHYSICS MODULE] Motion in a Straight Line, Graphical Analysis of Motion and Free Fall (Practice Problems Included)

August 28, 2020

FilSciHub compiled a collection of online videos that can be used for teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics courses. Here are some videos that can be used as aids in teaching and learning motion in a straight line, graphical analysis of motion and free fall. Review videos on the fundamentals of motion (speed, velocity, distance, displacement and acceleration) and strategies for solving problems are also provided.

REVIEW: Motion and its Types

Can you answer this interesting question? How many things are currently moving around you? I am pretty sure there will be a thing or two beside you moving in...

REVIEW: Distance and Displacement

How do we understand Distance? What are distance and displacement? Is Displacement the same as Distance? Watch this video to know more! To learn more about M...

REVIEW: What is Acceleration

When do we say that an object is accelerating? What happens to the velocity of an object when it accelerates or when it is in motion? Is acceleration scalar ...

[REVIEW] Equations of motion

Higher Physics - equations of motion. I derive all 4 equations of motion then go over some important points to remember when using them. Look out for the vid...

Motion in a Straight Line

In this, THE FIRST EPISODE of Crash Course Physics, your host Dr. Shini Somara introduces us to the ideas of motion in a straight line. She talks about displ...

Kinematics In One Dimension - Distance Velocity and Acceleration

This physics video tutorial focuses on kinematics in one dimension. It explains how to solve one-dimensional motion problems using kinematic equations and fo...

Physics Motion Graphs

This video discusses the relationships of displacement, velocity, acceleration, and time and the graphical analysis of most of the motion scenarios we will s...

Interpreting Motion Graphs

This video gives a little bit of information about interpreting the motion based on the position vs time graph, the velocity vs time graph, and the accelerat...

If we are going to study the motion of objects, we are going to have to learn about the concepts of position, velocity, and acceleration. More scalars and ve...

Everyone loves graphs! Especially when they give us so much information about the motion of an object. Position, velocity, and acceleration can be plotted ag...

Free Fall

In this lesson we extend our knowledge of Uniformly Accelerated Motion to include freely falling objects. We talk about what Free-Fall means, how to work wit...

Gives an explanation of free fall motion for one dimensional vertical kinematics. Includes one worked example problem. You can link to all my videos from my ...

How to Solve a Free Fall Problem

Neglecting the effects due to air resistance, we determine the impact speed of a dropped object using kinematic equations.
